CHICAGO, IL—The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Real Estate attorney Kathleen Duncan has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a partner. She was previously at another large, national law firm.

Duncan advises organizations, institutions and developers on real estate transactions, with an emphasis on her extensive experience with zoning and land use issues. She has helped owners, developers, governmental entities and other real estate market participants obtain planned development approvals, zoning amendments, special use permits, variations, subdivisions and various other governmental permits and licenses.

Duncan is the current co-chair of the Network Liaison Committee for the Commercial Real Estate Women Network (CREW) Chicago, former chair of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Council and current village trustee in the Village of Barrington, Ill.

Duncan holds a Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Butler University.
