NEW YORK, NY and WASHINGTON, D.C.—ArentFox Schiff is pleased to announce the addition of Partner Andrew S. Katzenberg to the firm’s Private Clients, Trusts & Estates practice. Based in both the New York and Washington, D.C., offices, Andy brings extensive experience counseling high-net-worth individuals and families on estate and tax planning matters.

Andy’s national practice focuses primarily on wealth transfer planning and preservation, multi-generational planning, estate and trust administration, and charitable giving. He also represents clients in the formation and governance of nonprofit and charitable trusts, as well as acquiring and retaining tax-exempt status. Andy’s clients span many sectors and businesses, including art dealers, hedge fund and private equity managers, business owners, athletes, entertainers, and charitable organizations.

In addition to his law practice, Andy serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore Law School Graduate Master’s Program and regularly lectures and publishes articles on estate planning, tax law, charitable giving, and related issues. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), which marks the ninth ArentFox Schiff attorney to have earned this distinguished industry recognition.

Andy joins ArentFox Schiff from DLA Piper and is licensed to practice in New York, D.C., and Maryland.
