San Diego, CA—Patrick Coughlin and Carmen Medici have joined Scott+Scott’s San Diego office. The attorneys, formerly with Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, have extensive experience in complex antitrust litigation and unfair competition law.

Coughlin is one of the most lauded and respected complex class action litigators in the country. He served as lead counsel for some of the highest profile securities and antitrust cases to go before the courts, including Enron’s $7.2 billion securities settlement and the Interchange $5.54 billion antitrust settlement. Medici was also instrumental in the Interchange litigation, among many landmark cases, and has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for the past seven consecutive years.
Scott+Scott has a long history with both Coughlin and Medici, having served as co-counsel with them on some of the largest and most significant antitrust cases in recent years, including USFOREX, which netted a $2.3 billion settlement.
