Lawyers!<\/strong> I\u2019m excited to introduce our first National Immigration special issue. In this issue, we\u2019ve interviewed some standout immigration attorneys and welcomed some lawyers with insights on the industry from across the country. Thank you to each of the lawyers for making this inaugural issue a must read.<\/p>\n

Our cover story features Attorney of the Month, Vitalii Maliuk, came to the United States as an immigrant himself. After experience his own immigrant journey, his legal career evolved from a civil litigation practice in the Ukraine to an immigration practice here where he lends his own personal experience to the benefit of his clients.<\/p>\n

Today, he is the founder of his own firm, Arvian Law which specializes in representing detained asylum seekers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Delia Salvatierra describes herself resolute on the cusp of a new administration and a lot of uncertainty for her practice. Born and raised in the Mission District of San Francisco, she relocated to Arizona to attend law school, where immigration law became her calling. Salvatierra has not only fought tirelessly on behalf of her clients, she has also advocated at all levels of the government, including when Arizona passed SB 1070 in 2010.<\/p>\n

Also in this issue, Thomas Messner of Robert Brown Immigration Law shares about self-deportation or voluntary departure in his article. Lastly, Latangie Williams, a Florida-based immigration lawyer writes about the myth of noncitizen voting.<\/p>\n

We have several upcoming special issues this year. Next, will be our Personal Injury issue, which will highlight the standout attorneys in that practice nationwide and the trends to be aware of as we enter 2025. To participate, please contact me.<\/p>\n
