Luke Slan<\/a>, will lead the company\u2019s efforts to drive growth and innovation tailored to the unique needs of the Canadian legal market.<\/p>\nThe Toronto-based Slan comes to Clio from \u2026 well \u2026 from Clio. He has been with the company for seven years, most recently as senior manager of solutions engineering and earlier as an account executive.<\/p>\n
Before joining Clio in 2018, he was director of sales at Guardly, a provider of enterprise mobile security solutions. He began his career at a Big Four accounting firm and then worked as an associate at a venture capital firm.<\/p>\n
Clio says it plans to expand its market presence and product offerings in Canada with a strengthened cross-functional team spanning product and engineering, sales, marketing, and channel partners. <\/p>\n
It says it is also refining its core products to better serve the specific needs of Canadian legal professionals.<\/p>\n
