One of the high-profile lawyers representing Sean Combs hit a rock representing Diddy; now he wants out. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/entertainment\/celebrities\/2025\/02\/21\/sean-combs-diddy-lawyer-quits\/79423969007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">USA Today<\/a> has coverage:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>As the\u00a0embattled music mogul\u00a0faces down a torrent\u00a0of civil suits\u00a0and\u00a0a federal sexual abuse and racketeering case, one of his lawyers, Anthony Ricco, is calling it quits. In a motion filed in New York Federal Court Friday, Ricco notified the judge of his intent to withdraw, adding it had followed discussions with Combs\u2019 lead counsel Marc Agnifilo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough I have provided Sean Combs with the high level of legal representation expected by the court, under no circumstances can I continue to effectively serve as counsel for Sean Combs,\u201d Ricco wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>What was the offense that broke the Bad Boy defender\u2019s back? As much as we\u2019d like to know (and Diddy would rather the reason be kept under wraps), respecting attorney-client privilege is doing a lot of work to stop people from prying for explanations.
