Scary news this morning from Hogan Lovells, where the Washington office building received a bomb threat this morning.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no indication that the threat targeted Hogan Lovells specifically as opposed to another tenant (or was made for the purpose of general criminal mayhem). As the alert notes, these threats are generally not credible, but sending everyone home is the right move not only for safety but to provide law enforcement the space needed to conduct a thorough investigation.<\/p>\n

From our perspective here at Above the Law, we\u2019re assuming someone called the firm \u201cHoLove\u201d one too many times and the comms team snapped.<\/p>\n
