Trump called this\u00a0\u201cthe most important trade deal we\u2019ve ever made by far.\u201d\u00a0The deal would reduce outsourcing and increase automobile manufacturing in the United States.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Remarkable.\u00a0You\u2019d think only someone with as big a brain as Trump\u2019s could have negotiated the deal.<\/p>\n<p>Until last month, that is.\u00a0Trump\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/trump-usmca-nafta-tariffs-canada-mexico_n_67bda523e4b0f4e8df29f534\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">now asks<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 I kid you not \u2014 \u201cWho would ever agree to something like this?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hmmm.<\/p>\n<p>Wait a second.\u00a0I\u2019m checking my notes.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re a MAGA supporter, then I\u2019m fairly confident that you thought six years ago that the USMCA was spectacular, and you believe today that only an idiot could have signed that ridiculous arrangement.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s enough to make your head spin.<\/p>\n<p>Spinning heads:\u00a0That\u2019s what \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/vg6pWv1B9L4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Exorcist<\/a>\u201d and the MAGA movement have in common.<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s just the beginning.<\/p>\n<p>During his first administration, Trump\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/07\/27\/politics\/donald-trump-bitcoin-cryptocurrency\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">thought that Bitcoin<\/a>\u00a0was \u201chighly volatile and based on thin air.\u201d\u00a0 As\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/business-57392734\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Trump said<\/a>\u00a0a couple of years later, it \u201cjust seems like a scam.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But today, according to Trump, Bitcoin is so valuable that the United States must create a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2025\/03\/09\/nx-s1-5321407\/trump-is-going-to-create-a-cryptocurrency-reserve-heres-how-that-would-actually-work\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Crypto Strategic Reserve<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Where\u2019s Linda Blair when you need her?<\/p>\n<p>But you, MAGA supporters, what are you thinking?<\/p>\n<p>Was Bitcoin really a scam a few years ago and a necessity today? If so, what made you revise your thinking? Or is it possible that you\u2019re just going along with whatever Trump says, without considering whether his positions make sense?<\/p>\n<p>Yes, MAGA fans, I know you\u2019re a little steamed up now.<\/p>\n<p>But I\u2019m just getting started.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, Trump\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.politifact.com\/factchecks\/2022\/aug\/10\/donald-trump\/how-does-trump-feel-about-fifth-amendment-depends-\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">position<\/a>\u00a0on invoking the Fifth Amendment to avoid self-incriminating was pretty clear: \u201cThe Mob takes the Fifth.\u00a0If you\u2019re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Until Letitia James put Trump under oath in 2022.\u00a0In a deposition about his business practices, Trump invoked the Fifth Amendment\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/trump-deposed-ny-ag-civil-probe-business-practices-rcna42355\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">440 times<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Remind me again:\u00a0How did they make her head spin around like that?\u00a0Was it a life-size dummy?<\/p>\n<p>Trump really should hire the special effects team from \u201cThe Exorcist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>MAGA guys, what do you honestly think about this issue?\u00a0Do you agree with what Trump said a few years ago?\u00a0What Trump says now?\u00a0What Trump will say tomorrow?\u00a0Or don\u2019t you really care; you just agree with whatever the fearless leader spews?<\/p>\n<p>How about vaccines for COVID-19?<\/p>\n<p>They were great while the Trump administration was developing them \u2014 Operation Warp Speed.\u00a0But then the vaccines came on the market after the election, so Trump and his MAGA gang opposed them.<\/p>\n<p>Whoosh!\u00a0Back to front.
