He fired off a goobergram to Senator Chuck Schumer five minutes before the statute of limitations on the offending comments expired. Then he hollered at Rep. Eugene Vindman, who along with his twin brother Alex rose to prominence during President Trump\u2019s first impeachment.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/dc-md-va\/2025\/03\/11\/martin-vindman-ukraine-us-attorney\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Washington Post<\/a> reports that Martin sent a harassing letter to the Democratic Congressman about a business the brothers ran before \u201cDear Eugene\u201d was elected to represent VA-07. The enterprise was reported breathlessly in October by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/10\/25\/us-news\/democratic-house-candidate-eugene-vindman-wont-answer-questions-about-business-he-started-after-14-taxpayer-funded-trips-to-ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">New York Post<\/a>, and Rep. Vindman has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.princewilliamtimes.com\/news\/democracy-is-on-the-line-eugene-vindman-says-trump-ended-his-military-career-now-he\/article_a6d3cce0-a0d8-11ee-9064-33f3f085068b.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">made no secret<\/a> of his involvement with Trident Support, LLC, which\u00a0\u201cfocused on helping bring technology to Ukraine and building capacity in Ukraine so they can win this conflict.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Congressman investigated heinous war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine while working with Georgetown under the Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group with the State Department,\u201d Rep. Vindman\u2019s spokesperson Amanda Farnan told the Post. \u201cThis is just a far-right conspiracy theory dreamed up by Putin\u2019s favorite mouthpiece, Tucker Carlson.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But far-right conspiracy theories are very much Ed Martin\u2019s bag. The \u201cstop the steal\u201d lawyer is currently investigating his own staff after a purge of prosecutors who worked on January 6 cases, and he recently <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/USAEdMartin\/status\/1895862712309334064\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">reposted<\/a> a wholly concocted rumor that Alex Vindman, along with Susan Rice, Antony Blinken, and Victoria Neuland, had secretly advised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to \u201creject Trump\u2019s deal in violation of the Logan Act.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>As the Post notes, Martin has enlisted an assistant dick-waggler by the name of James \u201cClayton\u201d Cromer, who reached out multiple times to the congressman before being told to back TF off by Rep.
