There\u2019s major law firms in Washington, D.C. and \u2026 what we are trying to do is put you out of business and bankrupt you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Conservative strategist Steve Bannon, in comments given during a recent appearance on Real America\u2019s Voice\u2019s\u00a0War Room<\/a>, where he said that the Trump administration sought to punish Biglaw firms, including Covington Burling<\/a> and Perkins Coie<\/a>, in order to \u201ccut them off.\u201d Trump later issued another executive order against Paul Weiss<\/a>, and has since targeted 20 additional leading law firms<\/a> over their DEI policies. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
