\u2014 Mark Pomerantz<\/a>, a former partner at Paul Weiss, in a statement given to Reuters<\/a> in the wake of Paul Weiss chairman Brad Karp\u2019s<\/a> acknowledgement of Pomerantz\u2019s \u201cwrongdoing\u201d while he worked in the Manhattan district attorney\u2019s office investigating Trump\u2019s hush money payments to an adult film star<\/em><\/strong>. Karp reportedly made this acknowledgement as part of a deal to get Trump to withdraw his executive order targeting the firm<\/a>, and Paul Weiss has not stepped forward to correct the White House concerning the matter.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
