To me, these actions set a troubling precedent. When law firms yield to political pressure, it compromises the independence of our profession and threatens our ability to zealously advocate for our clients.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On LinkedIn, Kevin Decker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/kevin-decker-314b9410b_last-week-i-joined-the-growing-list-of-lawyers-activity-7320189718061608960-k-3s?utm_source=social_share_send&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop_web&amp;rcm=ACoAAADTga4BfINSGZsvrH1pKTcXCzO7ihThF8w\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">post<\/a> framed Trump\u2019s bullying of Kirkland as part of a larger problem,\u00a0\u201cI am disappointed by the decision of the world\u2019s most powerful and successful law firm not to fight back against this unlawful incursion, especially when other firms are already doing so successfully. This is part of a larger attack on the rule of law, along with efforts to nullify constitutional protections of due process, birthright citizenship, presidential term limits, and more.
