Bryant have been fighting for justice and championing the cause of victims throughout Minnesota and beyond. \u201cJustice for the Injured\u201d is more than just a catchy slogan, it\u2019s a solemn promise to those who have been hurt or victimized.<\/p>\n<p>Managing Partner Micheal Bryant had always aspired to a career in the political arena, inspired by the well-known politician Huey \u201cThe Kingfish\u201d Long.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI went to law school with the full intent that I would have a political career one day,\u201d he confides. \u201cOnce I began practicing law, I just never did. I love my work, I know it\u2019s important, and I receive tremendous satisfaction knowing I\u2019m making a positive impact on the lives of families and individuals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Taking classes at night, Bryant sailed through the four-year program at William Mitchell College of Law in three, winning virtually every competition and completing his studies. While maintaining a robust academic schedule, he also found time to clerk for a local law firm in the Twin Cities during <br \/>the day.<\/p>\n<p>Once he graduated, Bryant wasted no time launching his legal career. \u201cI was sworn in on a Friday and in court Monday morning,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>He joined with John Bradshaw, and they hit the ground running, bringing their focus and determination to the practice of law. Four short years later, in 1996, the firm officially became Bradshaw &amp; Bryant.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, Bryant has built a reputation as a formidable trial attorney, championing the rights of injured individuals and their families in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, and more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love being in court and try three to five cases a year. In my busiest year, I tried 17 cases all over Minnesota,\u201d Bryant says. \u201cThe flip side, of course, is when you occasionally lose. I always feel that I\u2019ve let my client down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the courtroom, Bryant is a prominent voice in shaping Minnesota\u2019s personal injury laws. Having testified before the legislature, he fights to safeguard the rights of injury victims and ensure that laws serve the best interests of the public. His contributions extend to legal scholarship as well\u2014he is the editor of the fifth and sixth editions of The Practitioner\u2019s Guide to No-Fault (UM\/UIM), a key resource for attorneys navigating uninsured and underinsured motorist claims.<\/p>\n<p>Bryant\u2019s legal acumen and dedication have earned him numerous accolades. He is a certified trial lawyer by both the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota State Bar Association, has been recognized as a top consumer lawyer, and has repeatedly been named a Top 40 Personal Injury Super Lawyer. His passion for advocating for injured individuals and their families is matched only by his commitment to shaping and improving laws in his state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile I was clerking, Joe was working in a law firm across the street and already had a solid reputation for being a leader in teaching no-fault law in Minnesota,\u201d Bryant says. \u201cThen around 19 years ago, we had a lawyer leave. And, at the time, Joe was on his own and doing quite well. He had just settled a couple of big cases. I reached out to him saying, \u2018Look, I have all these cases, and I need another traveler.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was 2006 and Joe Crumley merged his practice with Bradshaw &amp; Bryant and a dream team became a reality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoe plays the biggest role in doing things that no one else could,\u201d Bryant says. \u201cIf for some reason I can\u2019t do something, I know Joe will always step in and handle it with panache. He\u2019s made a tremendous difference here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An unparalleled litigator, Crumley has achieved remarkable success from the very start of his career. In his first trial, a Hennepin County jury awarded six times the amount initially offered by the insurance company. Since then, he has secured the largest verdict in Minnesota history for a shoulder injury and, alongside Jim Schwebel, the state\u2019s highest award for an ankle injury. Those are the moments you hold close to your heart.
