John Foreman<\/a>, who has served as chief product officer at two major SaaS companies, has joined law practice management company Clio<\/a> as its new chief product officer, the company said today.<\/p>\n The company said he will lead its product strategy and delivery across its expanding platform of products, guiding the company\u2019s long-term innovation roadmap.<\/p>\n Foreman comes to Clio from Podium, a company whose platform provides businesses with AI-powered lead generation and management, where he was chief product and marketing officer, responsible for the company\u2019s go-to-market strategy.<\/p>\n Before Podium, he spent nearly a decade at Mailchimp, most recently as chief product officer and senior vice president responsible for its product strategy and product operations, and previously as chief data scientist, where he lead the customer research, data science and data product development teams.<\/p>\n Foreman is also the author of two books published by Wiley:\u00a0Leadership Wise: Why Business Books Suck, but Wise Leaders Succeed<\/a><\/em>, published in 2023, and Data Smart: Using Data Science to Transform Information into Insight<\/a><\/em>, published in 2018.<\/p>\n \u201cAI is continuing to change the game in legal tech, and we\u2019re here to set the pace,\u201d Jack Newton, Clio\u2019s founder and CEO, said in an announcement of the hire. \u201cJohn has the experience, precision, and the ambition to help us redefine how law firms operate.
