We need these justices, who have life tenure, to speak up. We just do. And they\u2019re not. They\u2019re probably afraid. John Roberts needs to come out and say, \u2018Hey America, we\u2019re in crisis here. Are you going to support the rule of law, or are you going to support lawlessness?\u2019 I mean really, what are we doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2014 Professor Eric J. Segall<\/a> of Georgia State College of Law, in comments given to the ABA Journal<\/a>, on Supreme Court justices\u2019 responses to Donald Trump\u2019s continued attacks on the judiciary and the rule of law. Segall went on to say that the calls for action that have been made thus far by Ketanji Brown Jackson<\/a>, Sonia Sotomayor<\/a>, and John Roberts<\/a> are \u201cnowhere near enough\u201d to put an end to Trump\u2019s legal misdeeds. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
