\u2014 Kevin Carroll<\/a>, a Washington, D.C., lawyer formerly of Quinn Emanuel, in comments given to the New York Times<\/a>, on the left-leaning law firms that appear on Above the Law\u2019s Biglaw Spine Index<\/a>, for \u201cwhat they\u2019re doing \u2014 or not \u2014 in the face of Trump\u2019s attack\u201d on the legal profession. Nine firms have cut deals with the Trump administration, including Kirkland & Ellis<\/a>; Latham & Watkins<\/a>; Skadden<\/a>; Simpson Thacher<\/a>; Paul Weiss<\/a>; Milbank<\/a>; Willkie Farr<\/a>; A&O Shearman<\/a>; and Cadwalader<\/a>. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
