It\u2019s law school graduation season, and after a trying journey, everyone\u2019s favorite reality TV star turned entrepreneur and actress, Kim Kardashian, has graduated from her legal apprenticeship program. \u201cI finally graduated law school after 6 years!!!\u201d she captioned a series of videos added to her Instagram Stories(Opens in a new window)<\/span><\/a>, showing some of the details from her backyard commencement ceremony. <\/p>\n

Kardashian began her studies in 2018, and since 2019, when she officially announced that she was studying to become a lawyer(Opens in a new window)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0without<\/em>\u00a0going to law school, Kardashian has offered us glimpses into her life as a law student through her social media feeds. Her law office study program was supposed to last for four years, but thanks to COVID and her work schedule, things took a little longer than expected.<\/p>\n

As it turns out, with each study session documented on social media(Opens in a new window)<\/span><\/a>, and with each complaint about a specific area of the law \u2014 first, the would-be lawyer\u00a0\u201cfucking hate[d]\u201d Constitutional Law(Opens in a new window)<\/span><\/a>, and later revealed that she \u201c[couldn\u2019t] deal with all these fucking hearsay exceptions\u201d(Opens in a new window)<\/span><\/a> \u2014 current law students and practicing lawyers couldn\u2019t help but grow a little closer to her. That\u2019s why people were positively jubilant when Kardashian announced that in 2021 that after three prior failures, she\u2019d finally passed the baby bar exam(Opens in a new window)<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

In one of the videos shared to Instagram, Jessica Jackson, one of Kardashian\u2019s legal mentors, spoke of her pathway to eventual practice as \u201cone of the most inspiring legal journeys we\u2019ve ever seen\u201d: <\/p>\n

\u201cOver the course of this program, Kim has dedicated 18 hours a week, 48 weeks a year, for six straight years. That\u2019s a total of 5,184 hours of legal study \u2014 that\u2019s time she carved out while raising four children, running businesses, filming television shows, and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Kardashian reportedly took the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) in March, and it seems that she may be gearing up to take the California Bar Exam, either this summer or in February. <\/p>\n
