Columbia and Cornell University are the only Ivy League institutions that have not joined an amicus brief in support of Harvard\u2019s lawsuit against President Donald Trump\u2019s administration over canceled federal funding.<\/p>\n

U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs, who is overseeing Harvard\u2019s lawsuit, agreed to allow the brief on Friday. The signatories to the brief include five of the eight Ivy League institutions: Brown University, Dartmouth College, Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University. In total, 18 universities signed onto the amicus brief.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Schools aren\u2019t the only ones submitting amici briefs \u2014 over 12,000 Harvard alumni sent a brief in support<\/a>.
