Just flinging legal gibberish all over the docket (and social media) about how it\u2019s super-duper-unlegal antitrust or criminal RICO for corporations to not give him money. His credible lawyers wouldn\u2019t touch this nonsense, so he turned to Harmeet Dhillon, who now heads up the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2025\/05\/19\/g-s1-66906\/trump-civil-rights-justice-exodus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">increasingly hollow<\/a> DOJ Civil Rights Division. If companies agreed to buy ads of dubious utility from him, they could avoid the hassle of legal action.<\/p>\n<p>And, unfortunately for the sanctity of law, this strategy proved reasonably successful.
