Four years later \u2014 after much cajoling, incentivizing, and issuing of demands \u2014 law firms appear to be settling into a new normal, according to a survey by Maptician.<\/p>\n

Law firms in major cities are seeing office attendance around 55%-60%, with Tuesdays peaking and Fridays hitting lows. This marks a drop from the 90% or higher pre-pandemic attendance rate, the survey says, citing a 2020 CBRE report.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With fewer attorneys in the office, some firms are looking to reduce space per attorney, and some are investing in amenities amid a \u201cflight to quality,\u201d the report says.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cRegardless of the approach, most firms are moving toward intentional workplace planning, supported by data, policy, and technology.\u201d<\/p>\n
