Protests against raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles continued into their eighth day on Friday, with about a square mile of Downtown LA remaining under curfew, prompting area law firms to embrace remote work and, in some cases, either postpone client meetings or move them online. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While most Am Law firms in Los Angeles were already working a hybrid schedule and embraced remote work, several told The Recorder that they have advised their lawyers to work from home and avoid commuting during the unrest, as protests have caused delays in transit systems and frequent road closures<\/a> in the downtown area.
