Are they right about that, or just overly sensitive? The DC Bar election <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/06\/pam-bondis-brother-decimated-in-d-c-bar-race\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">ended in a blowout<\/a>, but why? <\/p>\n<p>For all the complaining about some wild theories on social media, the simpler reason is that leading a bar association in 2025 means <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/06\/brad-bondi-can-still-be-dc-bar-president-if-mike-pence-has-the-courage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">standing up to the administration<\/a> and Pam Bondi\u2019s <em>brother<\/em> never convinced the members that he\u2019d be able to do that.
