As a result, they may have played a bigger role in the decision to cooperate with the administration, leaving many litigators disgruntled to the point of looking for opportunities to leave the firm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong><em><i>\u2014 <\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyls.edu\/faculty\/rebecca-roiphe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Rebecca Roiphe<\/a>, a legal ethics professor at New York Law School, in comments given to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.com\/americanlawyer\/2025\/06\/20\/trump-deals-revealed-deep-tensions-between-corporate-and-litigation-departments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">American Lawyer<\/a>, on the growing divide between corporate and litigation partners at the Biglaw firms that made <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/04\/trump-is-coming-for-biglaw-heres-what-the-firms-are-doing-about-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">pro bono payola deals<\/a> with the Trump administration. A D.C.
