From <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bloomberglaw.com\/business-and-practice\/aba-president-touts-dei-after-delaying-law-school-diversity-rule\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bloomberg Law<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The American Bar Association isn\u2019t \u201cretreating\u201d from diversity, equity, and inclusion in the face of the Trump administration\u2019s efforts to block such initiatives, the group\u2019s leader told a Cleveland audience on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBias is real, and we have to confront it,\u201d ABA President William R. Bay said. His comments at a City Club of Cleveland forum came after the group, amid pressure from the White House, in February suspended its DEI mandate for law schools.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>William. <\/p>\n<p>The ABA has been retreating from diversity since the <em>SFFA v.
