Fret no longer! After devoting hours upon hours to this most precious cause, the Wisconsin Institutite for Law and Liberty has come to an agreement with the Wisconsin Bar. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abajournal.com\/news\/article\/suit-challenging-diversity-efforts-in-wisconsin-bar-programs-is-fully-resolved\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ABA Journal<\/a> has coverage: <\/p>\n<p>A final settlement has been reached in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abajournal.com\/news\/article\/state-bar-of-wisconsins-diversity-clerkship-program-discriminates-behind-closed-doors-suit-says\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">December 2023 lawsuit<\/a> challenging diversity efforts in State Bar of Wisconsin programs.<br \/>\u2026<br \/>The bar previously agreed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abajournal.com\/news\/article\/wisconsin-bar-redefines-diversity-to-settle-challenge-to-clerkship-program-both-sides-claim-success\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">in April 2024<\/a> to redefine \u201cdiversity\u201d as it applies to its Diversity Clerkship Program, which offers paid Wisconsin summer internships at private law firms, corporate legal departments and governmental agencies. The new definition says diversity \u201cmeans including people with differing characteristics, beliefs, experiences, interests and viewpoints.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For what its worth, this definition of diversity would probably still manage to piss off <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/7Wc-0weHzx4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">whatever pool the folks at Jubilee pulled the pink shirt guy from<\/a>. I\u2019d be surprised if the story ultimately ends here \u2014 stories like this tend toward flaring up whenever the demographics veer a little too female or immigrant.
