But if you\u2019ve been paying attention at all over the past few months, it\u2019s not shocking. See, every time the Trump administration suffers a setback in court, they take to social media or cable news to blame the judge. And the MAGA faithful have <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/06\/threats-against-federal-judges-are-reaching-epic-proportions\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">taken the bait<\/a>, amping up <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/04\/federal-judges-who-ruled-against-trump-receive-alarming-unsolicited-pizza-deliveries\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the threats<\/a> aimed at the judiciary. For example, two judges received extra security details after\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/02\/judge-told-trump-and-musk-to-follow-the-law-for-a-week-theyre-calling-it-tyranny\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">their rulings<\/a> put<a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/02\/serial-judge-shopper-elon-musk-rails-against-others-judge-shopping-which-they-arent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u00a0a pause<\/a>\u00a0on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/02\/elon-musks-doge-cant-even-secure-a-website-let-alone-the-government\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">DOGE takeover<\/a>\u00a0and resulted in right-wing backlash.
