Now, it looks like this summer may be gearing up to be a <em>hot <\/em>bonus season.  <\/p>\n<p>Texas-based <a href=\"https:\/\/vhh.law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Vartabedian Hester &amp; Haynes<\/a>\u00a0started the trend, and New York-based midsize firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.otterbourg.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Otterbourg<\/a> is here to one-up the commercial litigation boutique\u2019s $5,000 bonus offerings. Today, Otterbourg announced that all of its full-time associates will receive a handsome mid-year bonus of $15,000 in recognition of their \u201coutstanding performance\u201d and \u201cunwavering dedication.\u201d Could this be the start of a bonus war?<\/p>\n<p>Otterbourg\u2019s chairman, Richard L. Stehl, had this to say about the firm\u2019s generous bonus:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe are incredibly proud of the hard work and excellence our associates have demonstrated this year. This bonus reflects our deep appreciation for their contributions and our confidence in the continued strength of the firm.
