The e-discovery company\u00a0Reveal Data today announced that it will launch its new generative AI-powered document review platform, which it is calling \u201caji,\u201d in late September. The company said it is offering full access to the platform at no cost through Dec. 31, in order to enable \u201cthe entire legal community to explore and master the [\u2026]<\/p>\n

The e-discovery company\u00a0Reveal Data<\/a> today announced that it will launch its new generative AI-powered document review platform, which it is calling \u201caji,\u201d in late September. The company said it is offering full access to the platform at no cost through Dec. 31, in order to enable \u201cthe entire legal community to explore and master the next era in GenAI review innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Reveal has been developing AI-driven e-discovery tools for more than a decade, this new platform represents its entry into generative AI-driven review technology. The company had previously announced<\/a> its forthcoming release, but today\u2019s announcement gives the product a name and a release timeframe.<\/p>\n

Unlike products that repurpose generic AI tools for legal, the company says, aji has been designed from the ground up to reflect how attorneys analyze documents by combining smart automation with human judgment.<\/p>\n

Key Features<\/strong><\/h3>\n

According to Reveal, Aji introduces three patent-pending features that differentiate it from existing AI review tools<\/p>\n

  • Calibration Workflow,<\/strong> allowing users to create document review definitions without requiring data science expertise or prompt engineering. This addresses a common barrier to AI adoption in legal settings, where attorneys may lack technical AI skills.<\/li>\n
  • AI Advisor<\/strong> to provides suggestions to help users build and refine their review criteria, aiming to improve consistency and precision in document categorization.<\/li>\n
  • Flexible Modes,<\/strong> by which users can choose between full gen AI mode for detailed analysis with reasoning and citations, or a hybrid mode that combines gen AI with Reveal\u2019s existing supervised learning technology for lower-cost review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Free Access through December<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Reveal is offering full access to aji, at no cost, through the end of the year.\u00a0Wendell Jisa, Reveal\u2019s founder and CEO, said the decision to do this represents the company\u2019s commitment to democratizing AI access across the legal community and enabling legal professionals to explore this breakthrough technology.<\/p>\n

    Logikcull Version to Come<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Aji will launch in late September and will initially integrate with Reveal\u2019s enterprise platform. The company also plans to bring the technology to its Logikcull self-service platform at a later date, which will make it available to\u00a0smaller firms and for higher-volume matters.<\/p>\n
