In case you haven\u2019t been keeping track, the following firms have already awarded summer bonuses to their associates: <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/07\/summer-bonuses-are-finally-here\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Vartabedian Hester &amp; Haynes<\/a>\u00a0($5,000);\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/07\/law-firm-one-ups-the-competition-with-even-bigger-summer-bonuses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Otterbourg<\/a>\u00a0($15,000); Milbank ($6,000 to $25,000, based on class year); and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/08\/elite-law-firm-wows-associates-with-market-beating-summer-bonuses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Hueston Hennigan<\/a>\u00a0($10,000 to $30,000, based on hours). We\u2019re pleased to say that we can now add a fifth firm to the list.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellnunnally.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bell Nunnally &amp; Martin<\/a> \u2014 a Texas-based firm found on <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/07\/the-top-150-under-150-vault-ranks-the-best-small-boutique-and-midsize-firms-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Vault\u2019s Top 150 Under 150<\/a> ranking \u2014 announced that it would be issuing bonuses of up to $15,000 to associates. As noted in the firm\u2019s memo, the average bonuses was $8,000, and associates were evaluated bases on their billable hours, the quality of their work, and their contributions to the firm\u2019s success.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement noted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law360.com\/pulse\/articles\/2374269\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Law360<\/a>, Christopher B. Trowbridge, the firm\u2019s managing partner, said, \u201cResponse to our midyear bonuses in 2024 was outstanding, and 2025 is shaping up to be yet another record-breaking year for Bell Nunnally.
