\u2014 <\/i>Cari Brunelle<\/a>, founding partner of law firm advisory Baretz+Brunelle, in comments given to the American Lawyer<\/a>, in the wake of Perkins Coie\u2019s decision to fire an associate who <\/em><\/strong>made social media comments about the death of conservative activist<\/em><\/strong> Charlie Kirk<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. Brunelle went on to say that social media policies \u201cshould be aligned with your firm\u2019s values and culture so much that those who see your response think it makes perfect sense. When organizations don\u2019t have a process that\u2019s followed in every circumstance, their decisions can be driven by emotion instead. And that\u2019s when they get into trouble.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
