This follows the company Series A raise of $47 million [\u2026]<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eve.legal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.eve.legal\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1759321594973000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1I6-R0fHP1HVzgHEXBOxoV\">Eve<\/a>, an AI platform for plaintiffs\u2019 law firms, has raised $103 million in Series B funding at over a $1 billion valuation, it said today. The round was led by Spark Capital, with participation from existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Menlo Ventures.<\/p>\n<p>This follows the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawnext.com\/2025\/01\/eve-intelligent-partner-for-pi-firms-raises-47m-in-round-led-by-major-vc-firm-andreessen-horowitz.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Series A raise of $47 million<\/a> last January. Since then, the company says, it has experienced significant growth,\u00a0adding more than 350 new firms as customers, and bringing its total customer base to more than 450 firms.<\/p>\n<p>The company says the platform now processes more than 200,000 legal cases annually and has helped firms collectively recover over $3.5 billion in settlements and judgments.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview for my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawnext.com\/2025\/03\/lawnext-eve-ceo-jay-madheswaran-on-building-ai-native-law-firms-for-the-plaintiffs-bar.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LawNext podcast<\/a> last March, Eve\u2019s cofounder and CEO\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jayanth1\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jay Madheswaran<\/a> tole me that Eve\u2019s mission was to transform traditional plaintiffs\u2019 firms into what he called \u201cAI-native law firms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eve sought to do this, he said, with technology that does not just automate tasks but fundamentally changes how legal services are delivered, in part by encoding firms\u2019 unique knowledge and processes into intelligent systems.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZKI0aiMa-7E?si=9e2qZRnCrHe_EEgJ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"> <\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In announcing this latest investment, Madheswaran, a former engineer at Facebook and venture capitalist at Lightspeed Venture Partners, said that Eve aims to help plaintiff firms overcome heavy workloads and growing case backlogs so they can secure justice for their injured and wronged clients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is why we built Eve,\u201d he said in a statement released by the company. \u201cPlaintiff firms fight for fairness against corporations with endless resources. This is no longer about keeping pace; it\u2019s about seizing the upper hand. Firms must become AI-native, reimagining their entire practice to outmaneuver the competition and deliver transformative wins for their clients. With this funding, we\u2019ll arm them to do just that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eve\u2019s platform is designed to assist PI firms through every phase of a case, from intake and evaluation, through pre-litigation and discovery.
