What is surprising is that he thought that he\u2019d be able to use Kenny Loggin\u2019s music for shitting on America propaganda without getting an immediate cease and desist letter. NPR<\/a> has coverage:<\/p>\n

In a statement sent to NPR Monday morning, Loggins wrote: \u201cThis is an unauthorized use of my performance of \u2018Danger Zone.\u2019 Nobody asked me for my permission, which I would have denied, and I request that my recording on this video is removed immediately.\u201d

\u201cI can\u2019t imagine why anybody would want their music used or associated with something created with the sole purpose of dividing us. Too many people are trying to tear us apart, and we need to find new ways to come together. We\u2019re all Americans, and we\u2019re all patriotic. There is no \u2018us and them\u2019 \u2013 that\u2019s not who we are, nor is it what we should be. It\u2019s all of us. We\u2019re in this together, and it is my hope that we can embrace music as a way of celebrating and uniting each and every one of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wow, even rock stars handle even handedness, unity and peace better than the President. The last time Donald Trump had the opportunity to do so on a national stage, he decided to use the time to talk about how much he doesn\u2019t want good to befall his enemies. <\/p>\n

Kenny Loggins is not the first well known artist to stop Trump from using his music for political ends.
