The report, \u201cRemote Work in Law Firms 2025\u20132026<\/a>,\u201d finds that 68% of major law firms require attorneys to be in the office four days a week. Another 12% mandate full-time attendance, while just 8% allow lawyers to work fully remotely.<\/p>\n

However, it\u2019s not always easy to know just what a firm\u2019s *real* expectations are. According to the report, 73% of law firms provide \u201cvague or misleading\u201d descriptions of their policies, and 89% of the associates surveyed say there are unwritten, cultural expectations that exceed the stated policies.\u00a0<\/p>\n
