\u2014 <\/i>President Donald Trump<\/a>, in comments concerning the possibility attending oral arguments<\/a> at the Supreme Court while the justices deliberate on the legality of his tariffs. Trump later went on to tell reporters that he felt \u201cobligated\u201d to attend. Paul Collins<\/a>, a professor of legal studies and political science at UMass Amherst, said Trump\u2019s move would be \u201ctotally outside of the norm.\u201d Collins continued, saying, \u201cI think it\u2019s an influence campaign. I believe that he thinks that his presence in the courtroom will remind the three justices he appointed that he expects something out of them.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
