For his sake, that\u2019s no longer the worst bar exam prep strategy out there. Apparently Kim Kardashian relied on a veritable coven. Kim Kardashian <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/11\/kim-kardashian-turns-failing-the-bar-exam-into-an-inspiring-comeback-story\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">recently failed the bar<\/a> \u2014 though she can take solace in knowing that she\u2019s still likely a better lawyer than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/tv-and-radio\/2025\/nov\/04\/alls-fair-review-kim-kardashian-divorce-drama-is-fascinatingly-existentially-terrible\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">anyone involved with writing <em>All\u2019s Fair<\/em><\/a> \u2014 and she knows where her prep strategy went off the rails: the psychics.<\/p>\n<p>Talk about a new level to ineffective assistance of counsel.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Kim Kardashian\u2019s fuming after flunking her California Bar Exam \u2014 &#8217;cause turns out, she was banking on a different kind of counsel\u2026 a bunch of psychics who swore she\u2019d pass! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/QNYzmFKKS8\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/QNYzmFKKS8<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 TMZ (@TMZ) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TMZ\/status\/1988057579755630783?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">November 11, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p><em>Psychic: The spirits are telling me to acknowledge\u2026 does the letter M have meaning?<br \/>Kardashian: Yes! Mary.<br \/>Psychic: And Mary has passed?<br \/>Kardashian: Yes\u2026 and she was a life in being at the time the interest was created!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Kardashian, of course, continues her quest to become a California lawyer \u2014 despite lacking an undergraduate degree \u2014 through California\u2019s Law Office Study Program apprenticeship, allowing applicants to take the bar after learning under an attorney\u2019s supervision as opposed to law school. It\u2019s a time-honored path to the profession\u2026 just like Abraham Lincoln did it. Though Abe wasn\u2019t posting self-portraits highlighting his ass while complaining about Torts.<\/p>\n<p>Or did he? Honestly, records from that era are spotty at best.<\/p>\n<p>After <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2021\/12\/kim-kardashian-passes-the-baby-bar-exam\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">passing the so-called baby bar<\/a>, the full monster is the next hurdle on Kardashian\u2019s quest.<\/p>\n<p>The California Bar is designed to break one\u2019s spirit, but that doesn\u2019t give <em>actual<\/em> spirits any advantage. I mean, what\u2019s next? Deciding civil rights for women on the back of a Supreme Court seance to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propublica.org\/article\/abortion-roe-wade-alito-scotus-hale\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">divine the will of a 17th century witchhunter<\/a>? <\/p>\n<p>In fairness, there\u2019s nothing to suggest that Kardashian replaced professional bar prep with Madame Res Ipsa. But mainlining metaphysical reassurance doesn\u2019t put an applicant in the right headspace. We\u2019re not pinning everything on psychic-induced false confidence, but it couldn\u2019t have helped.<\/p>\n<p>Kardashian\u2019s drive to become a lawyer without bothering to go to school remains peak celebrity self-indulgence. But remember that she\u2019s probably done more for criminal justice reform than most senators campaigning on the issue. If anything, the problem with Kardashian\u2019s pursuit of the Esq. is that <em>she doesn\u2019t need it<\/em>.
