But they are missing necessary institutional support. Law schools should meet them at least halfway, providing them with the structural tools they need to thrive.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong><em><i>\u2014 <\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swlaw.edu\/faculty\/full-time\/meera-deo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Meera E. Deo<\/a>, director of the Law School Survey of Student Engagement, which is part of the Center for Postsecondary Research at Indiana University, in comments given to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abajournal.com\/news\/article\/survey-finds-one-in-five-law-students-has-a-disability\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ABA Journal<\/a>, concerning the results of  2025 survey, billed as the \u201cfirst comprehensive look at <a href=\"https:\/\/lssse.indiana.edu\/what-we-do\/research\/lssse_ar2025-final.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">disability among law students<\/a>,\u201d which revealed that 20% of law students have a disability of some kind, ranging from mental health conditions to physical disabilities.
