It isn\u2019t much of a surprise; the firm\u2019s base compensation ranges have been <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2022\/03\/kellogg-raises-22\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">on top of the Biglaw scale<\/a> for years, and their year-end bonuses are huge too.\u00a0This just lines Kellogg associates\u2019 pockets with even more money.<\/p>\n<p>So what, exactly, does an \u201cabove market\u201d special bonus look like at Kellogg Hansen? While Biglaw associates are receiving $6,000 to $25,000 associates at the firm will be receiving much, much more. According to an internal email from Michael Kellogg, all associate classes as well as of counsel will be receiving <em>big-time<\/em> special bonuses on the following scale:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Associate Year 1 (joined the firm in 2024) \u2013 $30,000<\/p>\n<p>Associate Year 2 \u2013 $35,000<\/p>\n<p>Associate Year 3 \u2013 $40,000<\/p>\n<p>Associate Year 4 \u2013 $45,000<\/p>\n<p>Associate Year 5 \u2013 $50,000<\/p>\n<p>Associate Year 6 \u2013 $55,000<\/p>\n<p>Of Counsel \u2013 $60,000<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>These bonuses come in addition to the firm\u2019s year-end bonuses, which are usually gigantic for almost every class year.
