I want the community to know that I have strong faith in our judicial system. This horrific violence will not shake my belief in the importance of peacefully resolving disputes. I remain confident we have the best judicial system in the world, and I am proud to be a part of it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2014\u00a0Tippecanoe County Superior Court Judge Steven P. Meyer, in comments given to the Indiana Lawyer<\/a>, showing his resilience and faith in the rule of law, in the wake of being shot at home<\/a> alongside his wife. Meyer, who was shot in the arm, remains in the hospital, while his wife was released previously. While an investigation into the shooting is ongoing, no arrests have been made.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
