And then Saturday Night Live got in on the action.<\/p>\n

In the cold open, cast member Ashley Padilla took a turn as Bondi, delivering a performance that managed to capture both the self-seriousness and the spectacular lack of self-awareness that defined Bondi\u2019s time at DOJ. The highlight? A line that feels destined to live far longer than Bondi\u2019s already-short-lived post-Trump tenure, \u201cThe truth is, I was amazing at my job, and I am proud to say I made history as the first woman ever to be fired as attorney general. I shattered that glass exit door!\u201d<\/p>\n
