This shift is particularly concerning because first-gen college graduates are a vital way to broaden who gets to be a part of the legal profession and what it means to promote access to justice throughout our society.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong><em>\u2014\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lsac.org\/about\/lsac-leadership\/sudha-setty\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sudha Setty<\/a>, president and the CEO of the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), in comments given to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abajournal.com\/web\/article\/enrollment-in-law-school-of-first-gen-college-grads-drops-lsac-study-finds\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ABA Journal<\/a>, concerning the decline in law school enrollment of first-generation college graduates for the second consecutive year (23.95% for the 2024 1L class and 21.6% for the 2025 1L class). This data comes from an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abajournal.com\/web\/article\/enrollment-in-law-school-of-first-gen-college-grads-drops-lsac-study-finds\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LSAC report on law school enrollment trends<\/a> from 2021 to 2025.
