(\u201cConcepts of a plan.\u201d) The $1 million sanctions order she got from Judge Donald Middlebrooks for filing a frivolous RICO suit against Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and half the Democrats in DC. (\u201cA Hillary Clinton-appointed judge sanctioned me for suing Hillary Clinton.\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>But no one was interested in Habba\u2019s take on drug prices. (\u201cGoing down.\u201d) Less than 24 hours after the Justice Department indicted Comey for posting seashells on Insta, Habba was invited on to be the heel. He was held accountable because you cannot do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Was he now?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On June 25, 2025, an Orlando man named Salvatore Russotto was <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.flmd.443804\/gov.uscourts.flmd.443804.1.0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">charged<\/a> under \u00a7 875 for making true threats to Habba. He did indeed tweet \u201c86 HABBA\u201d multiple times. As part of an <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.flmd.443804\/gov.uscourts.flmd.443804.71.1_3.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">extended social media bender<\/a> the prior month, Russotto called to \u201c86\u201d Chuck Schumer, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, Joe Biden, Jim Comey, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, Canada, \u201call demonRATS,\u201d and Black people. Only he didn\u2019t say \u201cBlack people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Russotto was <em>not<\/em> charged with threatening Canada or Biden or Comey, whom he said \u201cneeds to die a slow and painful death\u201d and \u201cmust be eliminated.\u201d He was only charged with threatening Habba, the president\u2019s former personal lawyer who was then LARP-ing as US Attorney for New Jersey. <\/p>\n<p>This is not terrific evidence of even-handed administration of justice. On the other hand, Russotto did tweet <em>at<\/em> Habba nine times in an hour on May 20. In addition to calling to \u201c86\u201d her, he repeatedly wished for her \u201cslow and painful death\u201d and demanded that she get the death penalty. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1013\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/abovethelaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2026\/05\/Screenshot-2026-05-01-at-12.55.43-PM-1013x1024.png?resize=1013%2C1024&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1183307\" title=\"\"><figcaption><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Arguably, Russotto\u2019s tweets are protected First Amendment speech under <em><a href=\"https:\/\/supreme.justia.com\/cases\/federal\/us\/394\/705\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Watts v. US<\/a><\/em> and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/supreme.justia.com\/cases\/federal\/us\/600\/22-138\/#tab-opinion-4757260\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Counterman v. Colorado<\/a><\/em>. We\u2019ll never find out, though, since he took a plea, agreeing to spend a year on probation and get mental health treatment. In any event, this is clearly closer to a \u201ctrue threat,\u201d than tweeting a picture of seashells at no one in particular. And a cursory examination of the exhibits in Russotto\u2019s prosecution actually highlights how <em>un<\/em>evenly Trump\u2019s DOJ treats these supposed threats. <\/p>\n<p>Sadly, Habba is unlikely to make an encore appearance to correct the record with the ladies of The View.
