Rhode Island federal judge Melissa R. DuBose became clickbait for releasing an immigrant who was wanted for murder in the Dominican Republic. What further proof do you need that these Biden-appointed judges are soft on crime and hate America? Well, the DOJ made the happy accident of omitting that he was wanted for murder when they had the chance to. Now she\u2019s looking to discipline the lawyer who put the community in danger by helping a murder suspect get released. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abajournal.com\/news\/article\/judge-to-refer-doj-attorney-for-discipline-over-withheld-information\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ABA Journal<\/a> has coverage:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>On April 28, DuBose had granted [Brian] Gomez release, ordering that he appear before an immigration judge for a bond hearing.<\/p>\n<p>But in an April 30 press release, Acting DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis characterized DuBose as an \u201cactivist judge\u201d who had \u201creleased this wanted murderer back into American communities\u201d and was \u201ctrying to thwart President [Donald] Trump\u2019s mandate from the American people to remove criminal illegal aliens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>DuBose called the press release \u201ccompletely erroneous,\u201d inflammatory and dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>In a hearing Monday, DuBose called the decision to withhold information \u201ca serious breakdown in the ethical codes.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>No shit. <\/p>\n<p>If you have to rely on sowing discord for your media wins, run a better program. \u201cViolent Illegal Alien Wanted For Murder Sent Back To Shithole Country\u201d would have riled the fan base just as much without needing to do the damage control of \u201cWe know they messed up because we lied, but Biden amiright?!\u201d Expect a series of can kicking when it comes to responsibility.
