\u2014\u00a0\u00a0Dean Benjamin Barros<\/a> of Stetson University College of Law, in comments given to Reuters<\/a>, concerning the law school\u2019s new summer start program, which will allow new students to use the existing student loan system throughout their studies. According to the Department of Education, those who take out federal loans prior to July will be grandfathered into the system that\u2019s set to be done away with. Thereafter, the new student loan program for professional degrees will be capped at $50,000 a year and $200,000 in total, which could push students into taking out private loans.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
