A terrifying scene unfolded outside of a North Carolina courthouse last week, where a disgruntled litigant shot opposing counsel after a tense hearing in a civil case involving a police department\u2019s officer-worn body camera video. <\/p>\n
According to WRAL News<\/a>, lawyers representing the Rolesville Police Department \u2014 associate Mary Harris<\/a> and counsel Jeffrey Whitley<\/a> of Fox Rothschild \u2014 had just exited the Wake County courthouse in Raleigh when pro se plaintiff Gwendolyn White, 57,\u00a0who reportedly \u201cbecame belligerent\u201d during the hearing, allegedly opened fire. <\/p>\n
