The firms at the very top of the echelon have separated themselves from the rest and they\u2019re competing for the same talent. Firms are now sometimes even going down market to pull someone up who has clients who can stomach a rate increase.<\/strong><\/p>\n

None of this is new, it\u2019s just happening much more frequently and with a lot more zeroes behind it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2014\u00a0\u00a0Tad Gruman, a legal recruiter for Macrae, in comments given to Bloomberg Law<\/a>, concerning the battle for top-end Biglaw rainmaker talent. \u201cThere\u2019s never been a recruiting landscape like there is now,\u201d Gruman said.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
