Obviously, that describes Pete Hegseth, whose whole persona is \u201cGunnery Sergeant Hartman attitude and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/us-politics\/pete-hegseth-fitness-experts-criticize-workouts-b3018772.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Private Pyle physique<\/a>,\u201d but it runs throughout the administration. Screaming slurs and bullying people is the whole MAGA ethos. And Todd Blanche clearly has it, because he speaks fluent Sgt. Hartman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to <em>Regime Change<\/em>, the new Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan account of Trump\u2019s second term, Blanche had a vivid forecast for what would happen if the DOJ stumbled into federal court to push a series of revenge indictments. Roger Parloff of Lawfare <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/rparloff.bsky.social\/post\/3mr5rjyvshc2d\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">surfaced the passage<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Todd Blanche confided to colleagues that he was concerned about appointing someone a judge might regard as an illegitimate appointee to bring these high-profile cases.
