We recognize that parental leave is a significant time in a lawyer\u2019s life, no matter your level of seniority. It\u2019s a big deal to step away from practice, focus on your family, try to get some sleep and do all the things, and then return to practice. <\/strong><\/p>\n

So we really wanted to create a more thoughtful, structured support system that helps our parents return and sets them up for success.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2014<\/i><\/span> Lani Walser, chief legal talent officer at Morgan Lewis, in comments given to the ABA Journal<\/a>, concerning the firm\u2019s coaching program for lawyer-parents, which offers mentorship and resources focused on the transition back to work and work-life balance. Walser said the specialized support reflects the firm\u2019s culture while helping returning parents feel more engaged and positioned for success.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
