Ingenuity, an agentic AI framework built into its litigation platform.

The company stresses that Ingenuity is not a new product but rather an evolution of how its AI recognizes and understands the context of a matter based on how legal teams interact with documents, define relationships between information, and manage workflows.

These insights — nearly 11 million of them created across the platform each month, the company says — are generated automatically as teams build case strategy in Opus 2, and give Ingenuity’s AI layers and specialty agents a stronger foundation for surfacing and acting on intelligence across workflows from case assessment through hearing.

“AI is only as effective as the information it can understand,” said Greg Blackman, CEO of Opus 2. “Ingenuity unlocks AI through a deeper understanding of the insights inside our platform – delivering productivity, cost-efficiency, quality, security, and other valuable benefits across any law firm.”

The company says that the matter intelligence powering Ingenuity results in higher quality AI outputs that are more accurate, making AI-driven work more dependable, reducing risks associated with unsupported conclusions, enabling teams to spend more time on strategy and less time on validation, and more efficiently balancing AI compute, potentially lowering costs.

Read more: <a connects the legal AI tools customers already use — including M365 Copilot, CoCounsel, Harvey, Legora, Protégé, Claude, and ChatGPT — to the matter-specific context that LawToolBox organizes in Matter Containers within Microsoft 365.

LawToolBox is a legal SaaS platform that lives inside each legal organization’s M365 account and transforms Outlook, Word, SharePoint and M365 Teams into a legal solution.

Its MCP connector includes 70 tools that leverage the M365 data in the LawToolBox matter containers, the applicable laws and regulations, and the legal its Series B, announced the general availability of two capabilities.

Analyst lets firm leaders ask any performance question — such as why Q3 settlement pace is behind — in plain English and get an instant answer.

Law firms also get a saved dashboard they can visit at any time that shows analytics such as settlement pacing, case loads, attorney performance, and more.

Atlas makes a law firm’s data all real-time by structuring every record, bill and communication the moment it hits the firm, so Analyst is never working from stale data, the company says.

Atlas automatically extracts records, bills and communications into a live case file, so the numbers Analyst reports come from work Eve already did, not data someone had to enter twice.

Atlas is available now for personal injury firms, with the same foundation extending to more practice areas as it matures.

Last week’s ILTACON, the annual conference of the International Legal Technology Association, brought what may have been the busiest
