{"id":162503,"date":"2026-09-10T06:54:02","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T14:54:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xira.com\/p\/2026\/09\/10\/harvey-raises-another-550m-at-a-15-5b-valuation\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T06:54:02","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T14:54:02","slug":"harvey-raises-another-550m-at-a-15-5b-valuation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/xira.com\/p\/2026\/09\/10\/harvey-raises-another-550m-at-a-15-5b-valuation\/","title":{"rendered":"Harvey Raises Another $550M At A $15.5B Valuation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawnext.com\/2026\/09\/harvey-raises-another-550m-at-a-15-5b-valuation.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Harvey Raises Another $550M At A $15.5B Valuation<\/a> appeared first on <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Above the Law<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The legal AI company Harvey <a href=\"https:\/\/www.harvey.ai\/blog\/harvey-raises-dollar550m-at-a-dollar155b-valuation-to-help-legal-teams-own-their-intelligence\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">said today<\/a> that it has raised another $550 million at a $15.5 billion valuation, co-led by Diffusion and Lightspeed.<\/p>\n<p>By my calculations, that puts the total amount Harvey has raised since its 2022 launch at north of $1.5 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Other investors participating in this round were\u00a0Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, a16z, Coatue, Conviction, Elad Gil, Evantic, GIC, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Whale Rock, WndrCo, Sapphire and Verified Capital.<\/p>\n<p>On LinkedIn, <a href=\"https:\/\/lnkd.in\/p\/gpmt4XT6\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">cofounder Winston Weinberg wrote<\/a> that the company has now crossed $400 million in annual recurring revenue and serves more than 3,000 customers, including 80% of the top 100 law firms, 20% of the Fortune 500, and half of the Fortune 10.<\/p>\n<p>The company noted that the raise follows the introduction of Tenet, its first\u00a0<a class=\"underline cursor-pointer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.harvey.ai\/en-US\/blog\/post-training-update-harvey-tenet\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">post-trained open-weight model<\/a>,\u00a0and the launch of\u00a0<a class=\"underline cursor-pointer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.harvey.ai\/en-US\/blog\/introducing-harveys-legal-agent-benchmark\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Harvey LAB<\/a>, the Legal Agent Benchmark.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Weinberg said the capital from this round is being invested \u201cinto our two most important resources: people and compute.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that the company is hiring aggressively across product, engineering, research, and go-to-market roles as it expands into new verticals and builds more specialized products for contracting, litigation, deals and compliance.<\/p>\n<p>With regard to compute, he said that the company will be investing heavily in both its harness and its own model training.<\/p>\n<p>He said the launch of Tenet was just the start, \u201cand this round lets us scale the compute and data behind the generations that follow.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The post Harvey Raises Another $550M At A $15.5B Valuation appeared first on Above the Law.
