We\u2019ve been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for a firm to match Milbank\u2019s special bonuses<\/a> since they were first announced on July 27. Here we are at the end of September, and we\u2019ve finally<\/em> got our first taker.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s Cahill Gordon & Reindel, a firm famous for handing out larger-than-life bonuses to its hardworking associates. In a memo associates received yesterday, the firm\u2019s executive committee made sure to thank everyone for their \u201cextraordinary efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before we get to the scale, we\u2019ll just say that of course Cahill is matching the Milbank bonuses. As noted by Bloomberg Law<\/a>, the firm is on track for its third straight year of revenue growth, with double-digit gains expected after revenue reached $502 million last year. Profits per partner, meanwhile, approached a very healthy $6 million in 2025. With numbers like those, associates would have noticed if Cahill suddenly misplaced its checkbook.<\/p>\n
